Halloween with the Ghoul Train Halloween on a Saturday is a rare and a special kind of party that has not happened since 2009, and won’t happen again until 2020. There were no tricks this Thursday of Hulaween, ‘twas all treats. JRAD is fueled by Scott Metzger, Tommy Hamilton, Dave Dreiwitz, Marco Benevento, & Joe Russo. This highly talented quintet

The doors opened at 8 p.m. and the Way Down Wanderers performed from 9-10 p.m. Their traditional bluegrass sound reminded me of the Henhouse Prowlers. Both bands showcase the Chicago bluegrass style, and I enjoyed listening to their approach to live music before the Jeff Austin Band got ready to go.
