A lot of sunshine is on tap this weekend in St. Louis for the 2017 LouFest Music Festival. The festival has made a slight shift to the location with the stage area now being stationed away Central Fields, and moved to the Upper Muny Grounds. I am looking forward to celebrating LouFest once again this year in Forest Park, but in a new section of downtown St. Louis. Experience the 2017 Solar Eclipse in Virtual Reality with YouTube 360
Visitors from all over the globe gathered across the United States on August 21 for the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Google has been working hard to provide unique views to this special event. In additional to a YouTube 360 video, they have put together a documentary, and have been working with independent data scientists to create a collection of photographs spanning coast-to-coast during totality. Over 1,300 citizen scientists captured moments of totality with their cameras. The project was focused to find out more on the sun’s atmosphere. iHeartRadio and Lorde combined forces to host a unique concert experience for fans in the Los Angeles area. The team at iHeartRadio recently had the cleaver idea to take the latest Snapchat update with Snap Maps, and connected that with a secret live set at the Houdini Estate. MTV VMAs Host Live Performances with Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony featuring Gucci Mane
The 2017 MTV VMAs will be broadcasting live this evening from the LA Forum starting at 8:00 p.m. CST. Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to open the MTV VMAs. Katy Perry host the award show that is set to be broadcast live from the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California. Bleachers, Cardi B, Khalid are on deck to perform during the pre-show. LOCKN Music Festival teamed up with Ben & Jerry’s, Airstream, YouTube and Relix to provide a live stream of the 2017 event in Arrington, Virginia. Relix is hosting the live feed to help aid the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF). ACL Festival 2017 has announced the lineup to their late night concerts taking place in downtown Austin, Texas from October 5 through October 15. The North Coast Music Festival has just announced their 2017 late night shows featuring Gucci Mane, EOTO, STS9, Manic Focus & Russ Liquid, as well as many more amped up late night concerts.
