Boss Eagle Opened the Concert with Positive Energy The temperature and vibe at a Lyrics Born show is always as hot as lava and his performance on Saturday, July 27 was another scorching hot set.  This marked the second time Lyrics Born has performed at the Levitt Pavilion, but one of the many times he has performed in the city of Denver. Musicians will often play up to the crowd, but the way Lyrics Born talks with the Denver crowd is similar to talking with family or close friends. It fits perfectly with the community-driven events at Ruby Hill Park.

Night One at the Summit with Lotus was Two Sets of High Octane Electronic Rock Lotus performed two shows this weekend in Denver with a concert at the Summit on Friday and a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday. Their hometown live sets produced a unique energy within the audience each night. On Friday, April 26 Lotus performed at the Summit on Blake Street in downtown Denver. The band was hitting on all cylinders for those sets. The Summit can hold 1,100 guests. My estimate was Lotus brought that amount, or extremely close to it. Lotus live at the

Dumpstaphunk and Robert Randolph Helped Celebrate 25 Years of Music History On Saturday, December 29 the String Cheese Incident returned to the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado for the second night of live music with special guests featuring members of Dumpstaphunk and Robert Randolph. The first set started off slower in comparison to Friday night. After being spoiled with almost a full set with the guest musicians on Friday, I was hoping for the same level of interaction on Saturday evening. It did occur to me that if a special guest musician is on stage for too long, it

It marked my first time covering NitroFest. Lotus performed an action-packed two hour set with a monster version of 'Tip of the Tongue' at NitroFest 2017. The audience was filled with diehard Lotus fans. Before the show got underway, a member of the audience brought up that she loved Lotus so much, that she named her dog after the band. Niall Horan threw his album release party this past Friday at iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for his latest project Flicker. Guests were able to soak in the new music, as well as find out more about the makeup of Horan. “I knew what I wanted it to sound like musically and then the lyrics came afterwards. I’m not used to writing songs of that style. To be honest, not many people my age are used to doing that because it is a unique sound from many decades ago. I think that’s why it stood out on the charts.
