A Taste of Colorado 2018 Presented Over 50 Restaurants and Food Trucks Denver hosted their 35th installment of the music and food festival on September 1-3 known as A Taste of Colorado. An estimated crowd of 500,000 people were in attendance this past weekend. REO Speedwagon, George Thorogood, and additional acts performed classic rock music on Friday evening. The food truck industry continues to build with an increasing demand within large cities, as well as at outdoor events nationwide. Faye Fest Music and Food Festival and Deli Star are set to host their first annual event on September 30 from Fayetteville, Illinois. Jamestown Revival will be headlining the one day event at the Fayetteville Community Park. This event is free and open to all ages. A number of food trucks will be available to serve attendees. Additional acts include: Sam Lewis, Old Salt Union, The Steepwater Band, and Well Hungarians. Moe's Southwest Grill has an interactive application that customers can scan for menu options, add reward points, place online orders and experience an augmented reality viewer. Overall, I have found their ingredients at Moe's to be above par in comparison to other restaurants in my area. The atmosphere and sanitary records at the Carbondale, Illinois Moe's has a good track record. Just recently, I downloaded the Moe's Rockin' Rewards app, and found the augmented reality viewer very interesting, and the reward system a smart move. A few weeks ago Moe's acquired some new wall art that caught my eye.
