Touch Of Green Grandoozy Music Festival has wrapped up two days of the  inaugural event in Denver with Sturgill Simpson, Florence and the Machine, as well as The Soul Rebels performing on Saturday, September 15 at Overland Golf Course. The day started with Head for the Hills, a Fort Collins-based bluegrass group, performing on the Rock Stage. When Grandoozy first released the schedule I didn't realize they had booked three local bands from Colorado to kickoff music on the Rock Stage each day. It is an awesome idea to introduce people from around the globe to the local music talent

Spoiler Alert, Sweet Cow Ice Cream is on the Menu at Grandoozy In their first year of production, Grandoozy has estimated close to 40,000 daily attendees for the event. It will resemble the Hangout Music Festival, but take place in the rolling hills of Denver. Grandoozy will bring one of the first large-scale multidimensional festivals to a golf course just south of Denver at Overland Park this September 14-16. My best piece of advice is to use the I-25 and Broadway Station in downtown Denver to access the festival. You can use the shuttle, grab an Uber, or walk 20

The Rebellious Sound of Rock Music is Alive and Well The mainstream media loves to lift up trends, musicians and artists and knock them down over time. We love to counter their tactics with logic and respect to the artists that put years of work into their craft. It is sad that many people blindly follow and become brainwashed to these reoccurring trends. One recent trend that has been getting pushed around is that rock music is dead. Similar to Net Neutrality, neither are dead, and neither are going away anytime soon. It is trendy to attempt to knock down a

Florence + The Machine Shakes It Out on Austin City Limits

Florence + The Machine recently stole the show for the 2016 performers at Austin City Limits TV. In 2015, I watched Florence break her foot during her Coachella performance, and finished the set. She embodies rock n' roll to the core. Her recent Austin City Limits performance with an extended backing band just continues to showcase her overwhelming talent. Currently, the band does not have any tour dates booked. After an intense world tour in 2016, Florence and the band deserve some quality down time. Watch over the songs: 'Shake It Out,' 'What Kind of Man,' and 'What the

Florence + the Machine has recently produced three spellbinding tracks for the upcoming FINAL FANTASY XV video game. The latest chapter in the epic saga of fictional gaming takes a serious look at the soundtrack behind the game. The three tracks, 'Too Much Is Never Enough,' 'I Will Be' and the classic cover 'Stand By Me,' were all recorded in Air Studios in London with producer Emile Haynie. “I was listening to Classic FM and there was a whole two hour program about classical music in videogames. It was so inspiring and a whole scope of music that I didn't

Florence + The Machine closed down the Hangout Stage in grand fashion. Her set started early at 9:25 p.m. After four days of intense music, the festival celebrated their seventh year with fireworks and historic music on stage. Run the Jewels performed on the Surf Stage to a large audience. Their set was hardcore hip-hop that had political and intelligent storytelling. The crowd overall was the most energetic groups I have ever seen. On multiple occasions, I noticed groups of girls running for stage to stage. It takes real dedication to run to different stages. The next generation definitely
