Macklemore and company has released Gemini on September 22 with special guests stocked throughout the album. In his return as a solo artist, Macklemore takes a break from working with Ryan Lewis to mix and match with different artists for this project. The album opens with 'Ain't Going to Die Tonight' featuring the powerful vocalist Eric Nally. Gemini appears to focus on Macklemore working with vocalists, as well as mixing it up with musicians from past albums, and new groups like Reignwolf. iHeartRadio and Lorde combined forces to host a unique concert experience for fans in the Los Angeles area. The team at iHeartRadio recently had the cleaver idea to take the latest Snapchat update with Snap Maps, and connected that with a secret live set at the Houdini Estate. The 2017 MTV VMAs will be broadcasting live this evening from the LA Forum starting at 8:00 p.m. CST. Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to open the MTV VMAs. The Sundance Institute hosted their fifth annual NEXT FEST event in downtown Los Angeles at the Ace Hotel from August 10-13. The Sundance Institute has announced additional screenings and speakers for the NEXT FEST event taking place in Los Angeles from August 10 - 13.
