Astronomers and individuals from around the world will be taking place in the 2017 Solar Eclipse events this weekend and leading up to next Monday. The path of totality will pass through the United States with partial eclipse starting in Oregon close to 09:05 a.m. PDT. Carbondale, Illinois will have a viewing party at the Southern Illinois University football arena. For residents living in the area, as well as visitors before next Monday, the craft shop has smartphone filters on sale to grab photos of the solar eclipse. Bruno Mars will be donating one million dollars to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. He made this decision following a recent sold-out performance at Palace of Auburn Hills on his 24K Magic World Tour. Byron Mallett has elevated the user experience for Ableton and the Oculus Rift headset by hacking into the controls and programming to the software, and added functionality to provide a virtual reality experience for users. Ableton found Mallett in New Zealand and interviewed him on his latest developments.
