Weezer, ODESZA Set to Headline the 2017 Forecastle Festival

The Forecastle Festival announced their 2017 lineup earlier this week with LCD Soundsystem, Weezer and ODESZA headlining the event in Louisville, Kentucky. This music, art and activism-based festival will be taking place July 14-16. Additional acts include: Cage the Elephant, PJ Harvey, Run the Jewels, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, GRiZ, X Ambassadors, Vince Staples, NEEDTOBREATHE, Teddy Abrams & Friends, and Conor Oberst. The festival has released a main bulk of their live acts, but they still have additional bands and musicians still to be announced. Run the Jewels Drop Album Release Date for RTJ3

Run the Jewels have been working hard on their latest album RTJ3, and recently released a new track online, as well as the release date. RTJ3 is currently available to pre-order, as well as available in stores on January 13, 2017. Vinyl options for RTJ3 include Vinyl 4x LP (2x LP original album + 2x LP instrumental album), gold vinyl prints, and blue vinyl. The hiphop duo released a VR project in April for Record Store Day. Florence + The Machine closed down the Hangout Stage in grand fashion. Her set started early at 9:25 p.m. After four days of intense music, the festival celebrated their seventh year with fireworks and historic music on stage. Limited, Live and Local Record Store Day 2016 was celebrated on six continents worldwide. Local, independent record stores work with music distributors to provide exclusive, vinyl records one day a year. This year I went to Joe's Records in Marion, Illinois. It was the same record store I went to last year. 2014 was my first time being apart of Record Store Day. I went to an independent record store in Carbondale, Illinois.
